What is BeepBeep?
BeepBeep is a service for sending a car owner an anonymous alert by licence plate. For example: an exit is blocked, the car is parked incorrectly, the lights are on, a door is open, the alarm has gone off, or the car may be damaged.
Do I need to sign up or install the app to send?
No. You can send from this website without signing up. Sending from the app works too.
How do I know the alert was delivered?
We don't show that. Every alert gets the same response: "Alert received". Otherwise anyone could check whether a plate is registered on BeepBeep.
An alert is delivered only if the car owner uses BeepBeep.
Will the owner see who I am?
No. The owner sees only the plate, the alert type and the time. Your phone number, name and location are never shared.
Why can't I write my own text or send a photo?
Free text and photos are easily used for harassment and abuse, so only preset alert types are available.
Which plates are supported?
The main plates issued in Azerbaijan:
- standard plates: cars, buses, taxis, trailers, e.g. 10-AB-123;
- motorcycles and special vehicles, e.g. 10-A-123;
- diplomatic and consular plates (D, T, FK, SFR), e.g. 001 D 001;
- plates of foreign citizens and companies (H, M, P), e.g. H 023 100.
Transit and military plates aren't supported yet. Spaces, dashes and lowercase letters don't matter.
What if I send the same alert several times?
The same alert to the same plate within 15 minutes doesn't trigger another push — the owner sees one alert. The number of sends is limited too.
It's an emergency. What should I do?
BeepBeep is not an emergency service. In case of danger, an accident or a crime, call 102 (police) or 112.
Receiving alerts
How do I get alerts for my own car?
Install the BeepBeep app, add your plate and allow notifications. No account, phone number or email required. About the app.
How many plates can I add?
Up to 3 plates per app.
Can my family get alerts for the same car?
Yes. The same plate can be added on up to 5 devices, and everyone gets the same alert.
Can someone else add my plate?
Ownership isn't checked against documents. When adding a plate, you confirm that you use the car. Alerts carry no location, photo or sender details, so the risk is minimal. If a problem comes up, contact support.
What if I receive harassing alerts?
Mark the alert with "Report abuse" in the app. After several reports, the sender's alerts are stopped. You can also pause alerts for a plate.
How do I delete my data?
Choose "Delete all my data" in the app settings: your plates and alerts are deleted immediately. Details: Privacy policy.
